Our client is a 3rd party logistics supplier specialising in transport, warehousing and specialist services. They are looking to build upon their high service standards and enviable reputation with further growth. To achieve this they are now looking to appoint a senior sales manager with business development experience.
Responsibilities include;
- Building relationships with potential clients.
- Converting sales opportunities into profitable business.
- Designing operational distribution solutions that maximise benefit to clients whilst delivering high margins.
- Adding value to existing clients and contracts by using continuous improvement methodologies.
- As a key member of the senior management team contribute to the profitable growth of the company.
You will have;
- First class sales, development and presentation skills.
- A demonstrable record of success in selling logistics solutions to major retailers and manufacturers.
- Excellent planning and organisational skills.
- The ability to build client relationships.
- An analytical approach with strong IT skills.
This position reports to the Managing Director. We are keen to hear from BDM professionals who have the passion and energy to succeed in a competitive environment. This role will involve substantial UK travel. |
