Our client is a premium retailer with ambitious plans for growth. They have stores nationwide and a rapidly growing home shopping business. They currently have an opportunity for a People Advisor at their Distribution Centre in Leicestershire.
Responsibilities include;
- Ensuring that all employee relations activity is managed effectively and pro-actively.
- Managing all site vacancies in line with company policy.
- Supporting disciplinary/grievance/capability meetings as appropriate.
- Challenge line managers thinking and help them reach the right decisions.
- Arranging and delivering DC training.
- Ensuring the appraisal process is managed accurately, fairly, and to a high standard.
- Monthly reporting.
You will have;
- A proven track record of achievement within logistics or manufacturing.
- The confidence and ability to bring about cultural change and encourage empowerment.
- Development and coaching skills.
- Previous experience of creating/updating processes and procedures.
This position reports to the People Manager based at Head Office in London. We are looking for an HR professional who can establish this new role and make a difference. |
